How to have healthy, beautiful skin

Get quality sleep

Sleep is essential for good skin. There are some things you can do to ensure your sleep contributes to beautiful skin.
  1. Get enough sleep every day. Insufficient sleep causes your skin to look tired. Over time time your facial expression loses its tightness. If you chronically lack sleep, wrinkles will appear early.

  2. Avoid sleeping in a hot room. Sleeping in a room with high temperatures (e.g. over-using the heater in Winter) makes your skin go dry.

Commit to a beneficial diet

  1. Vitamins are important. Ensure your diet is rich in vitamins.

  2. Avoid excesses. Consume alcohol in moderation. It effects your liver. When your liver doesn’t cope, your skin starts to look pale, tired and unhealthy.

  3. Don't wait to see the wrinkles or for your skin to look unhealthy to start looking after your skin. Because if you take the precautions you can avoid wrinkles and protect your skin from other factors.

Manage stress

  1. If stress levels are constantly higher than you’re comfortable with, evaluate your lifestyle. Continued stress leaves you with unhealthy skin. Take a rest and your skin will start shining.

Now look after your skin!

  1. Do facial exercises for 3 minutes each day. Facial exercises strengthen your facial muscles and make your facial skin tighter.

  2. Look after your skin before the wrinkles appear. It will happen eventually. But looking after your skin before they appear is the best way to keep your skin smooth and young for longer.

  3. Help your skin breath through its pores by applying a peel regularly.

  4. Protect your skin. Use a product to protect your skin against the wind, cold and dry air in Winter. Don’t leave your skin without protection or moisturiser each day. Never leave your skin unprotected against the sun. UV ray cause wrinkles to appear earlier and make your skin look older.

  5. Don’t irritate pimples. This may cause permanent scarring. Don’t apply peel on scars and wounds.

  6. If there are lines around your eyes, avoid using colourful or shiny eye shadow. This attracts attention to the lines.
